Frequently asked questions

Still have more questions?

Contact us
  • What is the minimum age limit to play paintball?

The minimum age limit is 12 years old for open play, and 10 years old for private groups.

  • Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. All participants must sign our waiver, which can be found here: Waiver and Release of Liability. A parent or guardian must also sign for anyone under 18 years old.

  • How many paintball fields are there?

We have 8 paintball fields at Adventure Valley.  Five are bunker fields in the meadow, one is a woodsball field, and one is a “king-of-the-hill.” One is our world-class artificial turf field.  Each field has unique scenarios, so you definitely won’t get bored.

  • Do the paintballs hurt?

Sometimes . . . but only if you are hit. We’d be lying if we said they didn’t. But they usually just leave a small bruise, or as we say at Adventure Valley – “badges of honor.”

  • What are the safety rules?

    1. Barrel sleeves must be on each marker (gun) when not on the fields or whenever told to do so by the referees.
    2. Goggles must be worn whenever anyone is on any field.
    3. No shooting is permitted anywhere on Adventure Valley property except in the designated fields, and only when the referees permit it.
    4. Players must observe the “surrender” rule, which means a player approaching another player at close range (15 feet or less) must tell the other player to surrender, but may shoot if the other player does not surrender.
    5. No horseplay is allowed in the common areas or on the fields.
    6. All players must listen to the referees and follow their instructions.
  • Do I tip the referees?

Our referees love tips – who doesn’t? We encourage you to tip the guides and referees if they gave you a fun time with us. But tipping is not mandatory. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask your guides or referees, or ask us at the front desk. And, we always welcome feedback at the front desk on how our employees handled your stay with us.

  • Can I watch and take pictures of the players?

Yes, you can watch most of the fields from behind the protective netting. You can take as many pictures as you like, but we cannot be responsible for any damage to your cameras or phones. If you do take some cool action pictures, promise us that you’ll upload them to our Facebook page and yours!

  • What if I have too much fun playing paintball?

Buy a season pass and come back again and again!
